What is great about audio books is the fact they allow you a deviation from your usual reading habits. While the traditional reading of books requires having a copy of the material on hand all the time, the presence of audio books, allows you to save on your portable player the recording of the audio book and listen to it whenever you like. For the ones who really enjoyed the Harry Potter series, having a Harry Potter audio book is sure to give you a good time listening.

The Harry Potter audio book contains the narration of each of the Harry Potter books done by a voice artist which uses many different voices to give a new life to the characters of Harry, Ron, Hermione, Dumbledore, and Voldemort among many others. In the USA and Canada, the published audio book by Listening Library featuring Jim Dale is the most popular. In the UK, the Bloomsbury version featuring the voice of Stephen Fry is its counterpart. While it differs from traditional reading in every sense of it, the audio book represents a change in the technology that is related to reading. The audio book is one way of reading without the trouble of carrying the book itself. The Harry Potter books are given a new light in the audio book. The varying voices offered by the narrator while reading them gives the characters volume and the richness of the narration put into reading allows even for the young kids to enjoy listening to them.

In the Harry Potter audio book, you can hear the voice of the narrator reading the lines as if they were in character. There is a different voice assigned to each character that is distinguished from the other. These voices are done by the narrator himself through voice modulations. The ways they are read to the listeners are done creatively by the narrators that make the listening enjoyable for kids of all ages. Listening to a Harry Potter book in an audio book is one way to enjoy the magical world of wizards and witches while comfortably enjoying the voices of the narrators whose talent in reading makes listening a wonderful read.
